Natural disasters paired with incompetent governments are abundant. This song in particular was inspired by the 2018 Hawaii volcano eruptions that lasted for months and took several villages with it, forever changing the landscapes, lives, economy and governance of the Hawaii. Hundreds of homes burnt down and the government has still done so little to help the island's new homeless community. But its important to keep in mind that it's not only Hawaii suffering, it seems the whole world is on fire. Look around. We poison the earth as if it were possible to destroy our only home without destroying ourselves in the process.
